(2) Enter in your personal 4-digit combination
(3) Open the HitchSafe drawer to access your valuables.

SWITCH TO TOWING - Need to use your hitch for towing? Removing the HitchSafe takes only seconds:
(1) Enter your combination
(2) Slide out the drawer
(3) Pull out the pins/bolts
(4) Slide out the HitchSafe receiver. You’re ready to tow!

EASILY CHANGE THE COMBINATION –
(1) Use the old combination to open the Lock Box.
(2) Follow the directions included with your Hitchsafe or refer to the Combination Set/Reset instructions in the Documents tab below.
(3) Close the Lock Box using the new combination.
NOTE: If your Lock Box does not open on the default code it has been changed and you do not know the current code, you are locked out. There is no way to retrieve your code. Please follow the directions carefully when setting your own code and make sure you do not lose or forget your combination.
FIT - Seamlessly fits into standard 2" hitch receiver common on trucks, SUVs, and vans
LONGER BOLTS - Optional longer bolts/hitchpins are available for these vehicles that have a non-standard size hitch receiver:
- Toyota Tacoma 2005 - 2021 [model years 2022 or newer are not supported]
- Toyota Tacoma 2007 - 2021 [model years 2022 or newer are not supported]
- Larger commercial trucks with a rare 2.5" receiver (with 2" adapter)

NOTES
KEYFOBS - We recommend storing keyfobs in a sealed plastic bag inside the HitchSafe. HitchSafe is water-resistant, but keyfobs are not water-resistant; they contain delicate parts that do not stand up to moisture.
SALTED ROADS - If you live in cold conditions where roads are salted, we recommended that you rinse HitchSafe with clean water regularly. Eventually salt will corrode even the hardest of metals.
OFF-ROADING - If you go “off-roading,” customers have told us that they secure the cover with a wire to ensure it remains on through all of their off-roading fun.
